Tip of the Week

Pinch spent blooms off daffodils to prevent them from going to seed, but allow green foliage to remain intact until it browns and dies back to allow energy to be stored for next year's flowering. If you find the growth unsightly, foliage plants like hostas and ferns may be planted around daffodils to hide the foliage.
